On the 25th February 2020, the day of the publication of the 2019 full year results, the Board stated that they would propose at the Group's AGM, to be held on 29th May 2020, the payment of a dividend of €0.22 per share, an increase of 47% on the amount declared and paid last year. This is equivalent to €31.5 million (2018: €21.5 million) and represented 29.0% of the adjusted net profit of €108.6 million.
On the 8th April 2020, this proposal was cancelled due to the uncertainty surrounding the financial impact arising from the outbreak of COVID-19. A statement on the 8th April 2020 read as follows: "The Board remains committed to a regular dividend payment to shareholders, but in the current highly uncertain circumstances and in line with the current action to conserve cash and limit cash outflows has taken this step as a matter of prudence. The Board will recommend the re-statement of the dividend as soon as it is appropriate to do so".

The shares of Applus Services, S.A. are listed on the Stock Exchanges of Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia, and are traded through the Automated Quotation System (Mercado Continuo).
The shares are recorded in book- entry form. The records are kept by Sociedad de Gestión de los Sistemas de Registro, Compensación y Liquidación de Valores, S.A. Unipersonal (Iberclear) and its participating entities.
The share capital has changed on three occasions since the initial public offering on 9 May 2014. On 28 September 2017, the capital increased by 10% of the shares outstanding at that time or 13,001,675 shares at the same nominal value as the existing shares of €0.10. This increased the share capital outstanding of the Group from 130,016,755 shares to 143,018,430 shares. On 30 September 2022, the capital decreased by 5% of the shares outstanding at that time or 7,150,922 shares same nominal value as the existing shares of €0.10. This decreased the share capital outstanding of the Group from 143,018,430 shares to 135,867,508 shares. On June 8 2023, the share capital was reduced by 5% of the shares in circulation at that time, or 6,793,375 shares, from 135,867,508 shares to 129,074,133 shares with a par value of €0.10.
